They're pissed at Dustin because as HOH and a member of a large if loose alliance he nommed Jen/Kail and told everyone to fight for POV so they'd stay up on the block. He then proceeded to blow off fighting for POV so he could score a trip to Barbados and 5K while his allies hung tough and passed that shit up. Needless to say they are all very ticked.

Of course Amber has the emotional memory of a gnat, Dick/Dani/Nick can't think about anything besides how much they hate Jen so I'm sure he'll be fine.

I'm still pulling for Daniele. I just love her and I'm not even sure I can explain why. I just think she's much smarter than she's given credit for, and despite how catty she can get, I don't see her getting totally gross and inappropriate the way I've seen Dick, Eric, and Jameka get. I agree, I really like Daniele a lot. But more than that, I love the BB editors. The church music every time Jameka started talking? So beautiful.

WTF was that? I'm pissed! And now we don't even know who the HOH is? I might be checking out the feeds tonight and tomorrow morning.

I also love that they're so careful to expose people's hypocrisy -- like when Amber was sobbing at Nick about how she didn't see it coming, and then they flashed back to her urging Dustin to backdoor Nick, and then back to her sobbing.

And then of course Dustin's by her side, holding her hand while she lies there comatose from all the tears. Seriously, when are people going to get sick of treating her like a sickly patient?

I have a question about the banner (I didn't watch last night, so I only know about the banner via recaps). Do the producers know about the banner? Or is this like something that the fans do that messes with the game? Is it like a competition on CBS.com or something?

IIRC, there were several fan purchased banners in season 2 (the first Dr. Will season). They did mess with the con-*test*-('")ants' heads, but I don't remember if any of the banners were on the TV show (I could be wrong, it was 6 years ago). After S2, the producers told the hammies not to look up if a banner was flying, and they would be ordered to go inside the house. So the banners stopped having an effect and people stopped sending them.

I was surprised that the "We <3 Nick, etc." banner made it onto the show. I think it sucks that Eric, who technically doesn't have a vote in the house, might get sent home because of that sucky banner. I don't know why Amber escaped suspicion, her name was on it too.

It's a pretty big coincidence that the hamsters were sent a banner during an endurance competition where they were all hanging upside down looking at the sky! How would a fan know that? Maybe it was sent by an CBS or BB insider?

I think the producers would have rather ignored the banner entirely, but I think their hand was kind of forced. Without showing the banner, it wouldn't make any sense that now Eric is under suspicion/attack for being the leak.

I haven't watched the feeds this season, so admittedly there could be a lot I'm missing, but I'm confused by the hate for Eric. I think he kind of got screwed over by being America's Player. Danielle and Dick correctly deduced that he was the second vote both weeks, but in actuality those weren't really his votes, they were America's. And is he really a liar? He can't tell people about his secret role. I feel sorry that the banner might get him eliminated.

I don't feel sorry for him at all. He made his bed. He started shit in the house that he didn't need to. Ducking responsibility for the voting, for vandalizing Jen's stuff...that's one thing. But he actively worked to pin it on Nick, and then went ahead and pushed for Nick to be nominated and evicted. Well, guess what? Now his scapegoat's gone. It was sloppy gameplay on his part. I think the banner obviously hurt him, but Daniele and Dick were getting suspicious of him even before that.

As for how convenient it was for when it flew. Fans were pretty sure this would be an endurance comp. If you follow the show, they usually do endurance the final week before sequester, so the people who bought the banner knew if they flew it right after the show ended last week, that'd be the best chance of it being seen (since any other time, producers immediately herd them into the house).

LNC refers to Late Night Crew, the name of the Dani/Dick/Dustin/Amber/Jameka/Jessica alliance. Nerd Herd refers to the jerk alliance from BB6 (Maggie, Cappy, April, Ivette and some other aholes I can't remember).
