I think Dan realises if he throws it and someone like Renny or Jerry gets it, then he's toast, so I don't see him trying to throw HoH this week. Plus, I REALLY want to see what he does as HoH. I think he could totally mess with everyone and it would be awesome.

He's reminding me of Rob Cesternino from Survivor Amazon in that I didn't like him and found him smarmy at first but by the mid-point of the game I wanted nothing more than for him to win the whole thing because he was playing everyone so well.

Man, Dan's (He's a PLANT) HOH week has rocked. The competition itself was so deliciously cruel, everytime I watched them get whacked into a wall I giggled, though I did feel bad for Memphis when he went down in a scary way. See fame whoring will *kill* you!

I loved Dan/Memphis after the POV, and that the Renegades managed to keep it all in perspective, and have fun with each w/o taking game play personally.

My only disappointment with Michelle getting back doored is we won't get her great conspiracy theory logic: Monica was IN the cafeteria...MONICA was IN the CAFETERIA!

Dan has cracked me up all week, though I think the "go around the room and say who you want to be the replacement nominee" thing was overplaying his hand a little. I hope the double eviction night is fun tomorrow night.

All of the Dan conspiracy theories are hilarious.

Those are both right after the POV ceremony. Michelle and Ollie are off in lala land, and it's hilarious.

Hee, didn't Ollie indignantly say of Dan: "He thinks this is a game?" without a trace of irony. Oh how I envy the editors for Thursday, M/O are like Maxwell Smart w/o an Agent 99.

Sadly, though, I don't think we'll get any of that on Thursday, because the hour will be too full of the double eviction stuff. But man, that's comedy gold.

I'm so kicking myself that I made plans for tomorrow night. I'm gonna hook up the ole VCR and record it.

I've been watching the YouTube postings of the feeds and it's all gold. The degree to which Michelle and Ollie are losing it is unreal. And I love that Dan is just sitting back and watching them collapse upon themselves.

I'm just worried for the double eviction tonight because I would hate if Dan got kicked out after he's just orchestrated this comedy for us.

I know. I was thinking about that last night. He better hope to God that Memphis wins the HOH.

I love Dan. Even the weird way he shouts all his interview bites. But what really amuses me is when he starts trying to frustrate Renny -- seriously, I think I'm going to start 'shipping them.

I LOVE Dan and Renny together. Here's a great clip of them the other night. They crack me up. They were also talking about The Graduate the other night and she said if she wasn't married, she could break him in. Hi-larious! She stays frustrated at him but he Eddie Haskells his way into her good graces again and again.

I really like Dan, too. He's been playing a smart game.

Any thoughts from those watching the feeds and the show on how it's being edited this year? I haven't had time to watch the feeds this summer, but I know from previous seasons that it can be a totally different game than the one presented to us by the show's editors.

I think Jerry and Ollie are being given a pretty light edit. They've been showing a lot of Michelle's vile behaviour, but Jerry and Ollie have been just as bad, if not worse, and they aren't showing any of it.

Also, it hasn't been as apparent that Dan knows what he's doing just watching the feeds. You really need the DR bits for that.

Oh, and going back earlier in the season, Angie was like the funnest person ever. I'm so pissed she was voted off because she was having fun and any scene with her and Dan and Memphis was a good time.

I liked Angie, but I also thought she was incredibly boring. She pretty much laid down and died.

The biggest difference for me between the feeds and the show is that I think Jerry is the worst houseguest this show has EVER had. I hate him more than Jase, Boogie, and Cappy combined. He's vile and nasty and gross and incredibly mean, without even the occasional entertainment or game value that the other loathed houseguests brought to the table.

Yeah, Angie put up no fight when she saw her number was up. I didn't think she was a good player, I just think she's someone I would have liked to be in the house with. There was no abject crazy with her.

And Jerry is so awful. Man, I hope his family isn't watching. Or maybe they're used to it.

I've discovered that the VCR recently given to me by a friend is in fact defunct. Tape won't come out. And it won't play. And as I will not be able to afford a TiVo until around 2010, I'm S.O.L. tomorrow. I KNEW I should have gotten tickets for my friend's play for tonight. There was nothing on the TV tonight. I can't believe I'm going to miss the crazy.
