It's all such a blur for the first few episodes. But that upstairs bitchy girl's hair was as plastic looking as the Friendship used to say Janelle's hair was. Seriously, that ain't right.

After the show last night, I hated Jessica.

After watching the feeds til 2 AM last night, I like her a lot.

In fact, I like all of the houseguests, and I don't understand, because an important part of Big Brother is hating on people, and right now the only ones who are genuinely irritating me are Joe (but I want him to stay because he's entertaining as fuck), Jen (who I loved pre-show but is turning out to be exactly the stereotype I thought she'd be subverting), and Kail (although I feel like I shouldn't assume first-episode-homophobe will end up being the person I hate all season long; after all, Kent was AWESOME, except for his whole homophobia thing).


Every time I see a houseguest from the back, I assume it's one of the BB7 ones and try to place them. Is this what it's like every year when you start the feeds?

Care to elaborate on why the change? Inquiring minds (without the live feed) want to know.

I thought the former football player guy was kinda cute at times, but then at other times he was all fug. It was strange.

The estranged dad-daughter reveal was painful. I felt so awful for her, but it seems like he could go sooner rather than later, so maybe she won't have to deal with him for long.

Why didn't the ex run downstairs declaring himself clap-free? Your ex tells everyone you gave him the clap and you respond with...nothing? WTF?

I love Upstairs Gay's bite about his ex-bf -- the first thing he said (or, rather, the first thing we HEARD him say) was, in a bitchy stage whisper, "His NIPPLES are ENOOORMOUS." Ever since then I was not only on NipWatch -- and indeed, when Downstairs Gay had his shirt off for HoH, they WERE big -- but when I watched Pirate Master later, I was comparing their nipple sizes. This is what my life is now, thanks to BB. Gotta love it.

Sorry about the crassness of Upstairs/Downstairs Gay -- I can't remember names yet.

Also, the feud over $5 is so stupid it comes back around to being awesome. Even the brunette looked kind of like, "SHE counts as a rival? Man, they were desperate." But I don't watch the feeds, so maybe some better stuff came up.

So far so good, though, except that I don't like the "America's Player" idea. When they showed Dr. Will's picture I thought for a second they were going to let HIM pull someone's strings, or involve him in some way. So when the true twist was revealed, all I could think of was how much more awesome it would be if they DID convince Dr. Will to be part of the show.

Jessica just comes across as pretty cool and laid-back on the feeds. She's much smarter than I initially thought. She's way into the game and strategy talk. And so far she's spent most of her time with Jameka, just hanging out and dishing. I like her a lot so far. In contrast, Carol's pretty much a non-entity. She doesn't do ANYTHING. No more news about their "rivalry". They mostly don't talk. So I still have no idea what their beef was. Neither of them seem too concerned with it though.

Spoilers for some game talk. >>Carol and Amber are nominated, and Carol's totally given up. She has like five days left, and she's not even trying to win any votes, and is just accepting that she's lost. Dude, it's week 1. No one's that loyal to anyone at this point. You can get people to change their minds still!

Daniele won veto today. And so far there's been no talk of using it, even though most everyone in the house likes both nominees and would rather have Joe or Jen leave. These people, so far, really suck at actual gameplay. Lots of giving up, God telling them what to do, refusing to "campaign", "respecting the HoH's nominations", etc. Ugh. DO SOMETHING.<<

The only thing I like better than people making asses of themselves on national TV is people making asses of themselves on national TV with gonorrhea and crying over photographs.

Anyone who feels the need to watch Jen's meltdown over and over again, have at it. I really do think it actually gets funnier. And I love Joe's sudden "I LOVE mine by the way!"

The covering of the picture! Oh God! That was AWESOME.

With her attitude, how did Jen become a nanny? What an immature brat! I wouldn't let her watch a guinea pig let alone children.

It's too bad Amber didn't last during the HOH challenges. She didn't deserved to be nominated for eviction. She seems more genuine than Jen.

Amber's my most hated houseguest. Just so full of herself and obnoxious. I hate when people break out the tears and the sob stories, and "OMG, I like support my ENTIRE family! Everyone depends on me. Although, I can totally disappear for three months without it causing a problem."

I think the Jen "Nanny" stuff is just CBS trying to make it look like they didn't just choose a bunch of actor-wannabes. Before the premiere people had dug up all kinds of 3rd rate bikini/lingerie modeling stuff on her.

You could say Amber is playing it up to stay around. Will it work? Who knows.

Jen needs a change of attitude in a hurry or else she'll probably be nominated next if she doesn't win the next HOH.

Jen's meltdown over her picture might be the funniest thing I've ever seen on this show. I think I laughed for about ten minutes straight over that.

We don't get the live feeds, but we have been watching the "After Dark" thing on Showtime. It keeps us awake enough when our newborn wakes up to be fed in the middle of the night.

Based on the After Dark stuff, >>I can't stand Carol or Joe. Carol bugs me because of the night she was walking around bitching about the cameras, like, what show did you think you were on, you moron? And Joe just never. shuts. up. I must have watched him explain three different times about his theory that it's a double eviction week. GAH! Shut up, already!<<

I spoilered that stuff because even though it has technically aired already, I assume not everyone is watching it.

I find Amber SO BORING. Like, during last night's show when she was wailing about her kid, I just could not care less. Some people can make you care about their families even when we've all been through the I'm Doing This For My Baby routine like 90 times: for me, she is not one of them.
