What's the policy on placing non-YouTube videos in the YouTube thread? I keep finding various online videos that I want to share and sticking them in the YouTube thread, but I'm not sure that's really the place for them.

I don't really see a problem with that. I'd just note that it goes to a site other than youtube when you post the link.
