Good Lord, it starts again. I can't believe this has been going on for six years!

And if Paula Abdul isn't drunk or high, she has GOT to have some kind of serious medical condition. I mean, look at her deterioration over the years. A person doesn't act like that all the time if they're just "tired".

I loved how absolutely bitchy Jewel was to the auditioners. I wish she would replace Paula.

Not much else to say because the audition shows, while fun to watch, aren't really that amazing. I mean, it's about as pointless as watching America's Funniest Videos at this point in the show.

Dammit, I was in class and missed it. I hope I can get my hands on it tomorrow. I love to watch the auditions even though they pretty much always suck now.

I have a request - unfortunately my cable company has stopped the one channel which was broadcasting AI in "real time" so if anyone knows where the show is shown online please please tell me.

I normally don't watch American Idol. But, last night I was hanging out in a friend's room with a bunch of people and the roommate had it on. It was the funniest thing I've seen in awhile. I'm so watching tonight as well, because the previews looked ridiculous.

I read somewhere that FOX is going to be streaming episodes on the American Idol website this season. I just went to the site and couldn't find anything, though. Maybe this week's episodes will be up tomorrow?...

Our gang of Idol addicts was a bit disappointed. Why did they linger so long on the first sob story?A not-very-interesting makeover artist fails to realize her big dream. She wasn't even a horrifying audition (unlike the Cowardly Lion). And then it went on...and on...and on.... They lingered on a couple others, too.

But yeah, Paula was looking a little puffy, but otherwise the judges weren't annoying. The whole ep was just kinda dull, punctuated by a few hearty laughs. I hope Seattle is better (even though I have a conflict and can't watch).

Is there another episode tonight? I really don't know my AI schedule anymore!

I really hope that there will be YouTube video up soon of the girl who tried Prince's "Kiss." I just. . .that was the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. It was like they remade Sybil as a comedy.

They should totally fire Paula and hire Jewel as a judge. Jewel actually gave the con-*test*-('")ants good advice and constructive criticism unlike the other judges.

Unfortunately, Jewel is hosting Nashville Star this season.

I felt awful for that girl--but then, I usually don't watch AI, if at all, until all the scary people have been cleared off--and couldn't figure out why they didn't just stop her. My God, she just repeated that one line for like five minutes just to warm up.

GOD, I know. I was just watching it in horror and yelling at the judges to make her stop. They never let the good singers go on that long, but the bad ones are given twice the screen time.
