I hope so. I fear people getting bored of what an obvious frontrunner she is. But I love her.

I doubt Melinda will win. She has been consistently good, but we've all seen what happens to con-*test*-('")ants like that. She's toast.

Anyway, she and Lakisha are a little too stale and boring for me. I much prefer Jordin or Blake; at least those two are fun instead of just good.

I always think that whoever does consistently well in any competition ends up taking the first or second runner-up position. Plus, my faves never win so Melinda's definitely got that working against her. She has joined Vonzell Solomon and Elliott Yamin in my triumvirate of fave AI con-*test*-('")ants.

It's hard for me to imagine anyone other than Melinda winning at this point. The rest of them are so mediocre. And boring. Her voice just blows everyone else away. Lakisha comes close, but she's too closed-off. Jordin is cute but inconsistent. Her lower register sucks and she's yelly. I thought her last two performances were awful. But the judges seem to love her.

I like Blake, but his voice is so weak. And that other guy sounds too nasally, like a goat. The bald guy can outsing them, but he looks too much like a vampire.

This season is just weird. Why is this Sanjaya kid getting so much attention? The media is all over his ass. The paparazzi is stalking him now. WTF?

It's a bad sign when the most interesting thing about this show is Sanjaya's hair and Haley's legs.

Speaking of Eliot, has anyone gotten his album? Is it good?

I just got it today. I've only had one listen but it's pretty good. He sounds amazing. I'm sure after a few more listens I'll love it.

Don't know about the rest of the album, but I love his first single.

I got it the day it came out (I bought it from iTunes at 12:20 am. *cough*) and I think it's amazing. Lyrically, a lot of the songs are really trite but the melodies are good and Elliott's voice sounds incredible. The only song I really don't like is "Find A Way" and that's mostly due to the cheesy ass lyrics. My favorite on the album is "Train Wreck." That song is pure sex.

Was Michael Buble drunk, or high? Or just a really terrible live performer?

Aw. I didnt think he was that bad. I like him though. I know hes by all accounts an ass, but I cant help it.

My problem with the whole season is that is it really boring, Melinda is good (as Simon said they will never be able to critisize her) and the rest - well are the rest - at least there were always 2 or 3 good competitors on each season.

Yeah, what was up with Michael Buble cracking up through his entire performance? So weird.

Wow I loved JLo on this. She was clearly a fan of the show and so excited to be helping them all. And I liked that most of her advice was performance things versus actual singing.

I am a little bit in love with Sanjaya right now. His performance was simple and nice and restrained.

I cannot believe I'm about to say this but J. Lo was a good guest judge. She also had some good advice for the con-*test*-('")ants too.

My fave performance of the night was definitely Blake. I think his vocals are really underrated.
