Best wedding cake ever. (Sometimes the pic doesn't load so you may have to refresh a few times.)

WOW. That is some cake. They even got the rounded edges right, and the detail is amazing. I did not know you could do that with frosting.

punkysdilemma- 10-05-2007
OK, that is pretty damn cool. I want a 360-degree view so we can see if they made it exactly wide enough to play the entire first level at scale.

Yeah, you can do all kinds of things with gum paste. (Try an ep of "Ace of Cakes" on Food Network if you wanna. They make these cakes.)

At last, Yass, Australia has its very own McDonald's.

Haha. It took me a while, but it's great.

Some romance novels remixed

Hee, the Longmire covers are great. (They're actually a few years old now, I think.)

Zelle999- 10-07-2007
I think some of them are new though...

This one's my fave.

Well, it's humorous to me: the new historical American Girl doll? Is from 1974. Who feels old?

Who feels old?

I do! I do!

psammead- 10-08-2007
It scares me that I'm probably the same age as 1974 Doll. Does that mean my childhood is really interesting? And it also scares me that they're so expensive. Do people really get the whole set?

Not only am I v. old, but I'm pretty sure I had a pair of jeans that looked like the ones Julie is wearing.

I kind of want that doll. One of her accessories is a Barbie hairstyling head!

Unlucky Bear- 10-08-2007
Aw, she's adorable. I would totally read her series.

A new Sony Bravia ad! This time, Play-Doh bunnies invade New York. (You will recall that the previous Bravia ads involved thousands of superballs rushing down the streets of San Francisco, and fountains of paint exploding in Glasgow.)

Also, here's Sony's official site, which is all Flash, unfortunately, but it does have pretty still images for wallpaper.

Oh my various gods, they have a Quidditch Cake!!
