I'm definitely from the "Midlands." Well, I did grow up in WI, but I've lived in Northern NJ for over 20 years. Every so often I hear myself say something in "New Yorkese" and cringe.
I learned to talk while living in Kentucky so I sometime revert to that. For a long time I didn't know g-e-t was get and not git.

Stephen Fry has a blog.And BOY does he blog. His first post is 6400 words (no kidding, MS Word counted). The topic? His love of electronic organizers, PDAs, and smart phones, of which he claims to have nearly every important model ever released by anybody. I am in awe of his collection.

I say Fry needs to learn that brevity is the soul of blogging. I mean, PrincessCleo once got over a hundred comments with the simple post, "Mmmmwaffles."

Nah, they're really moderate entries with a lot of links. Not the same thing at all.
