This is perhaps the most
disturbing children's book ever. As one of the posters pointed out, the book targets preteens or teens, not children, so it really shouldn't be a picture book.
That is absolutely terrible. There are no words.
...and thus the breaking of my brain for the rest of the day is completed. (It wasn't just that book, but still. Wow.)
Good gad, that's really fucked up. Was this book written by Uncle Pete as part of the terms of his parole?

You'd wonder. Uncle Pete doesn't go to jail, all he has to do is apologise, which is odd if this is supposed to be an educational book.
Is it just me, or is the link "temporarily unavailable" for anyone else?

I just... what?
Is the lesson from this book "I was molested by my uncle, but it's okay because dad loves me now"?

I would add to that that the message seems to be "I was molested by my uncle, but it's okay because dad loves me now and whew, I'm not gay!" Good grief. I love the speculation that this book was written by Uncle Pete as part of his parole terms.
Not to mention the "I was molested and that made me gay but now that I've forgiven Uncle Pete I am not gay! Hoorah!" theme. That book is made of yuck.

But if Uncle Pete went to jail, who else could turn the world gay?
Absurd? Humorous? Just plain weird?
You decide. (You'll have to click "Watch This Movie.")

The link finally works for me, and...eep.
Is anyone else disturbed by the fact that Uncle Pete is the most attractively-drawn character? I think the theory about Uncle Pete's parole terms jibes with that. Of course he would make himself look good!
...Ew.
