Fate's Bitch- 04-01-2007
MuggleNet has some incredible spoilers for the last Harry Potter book. I always suspected the bit about the giant squid.

Xmas- 04-01-2007
OMG! I <3 thiz ppl.

Club Jade's blog matches quite well with Snarkfest today.

I'm growing increasingly fond of this gag.

I was just coming here to say that SF counts as an absurd and humorous website today!

AskMetafilter let the crazies out for April 1.

EvilBearHunter- 04-01-2007
Oh man, check out Pajiba's April Fool's post. Possibly the best part is how they're filtering out all the comments of people who got the joke, so there's all these incredulous posts about how "I'll be reading this site differently in the future." Awesome.

Scarlettfish- 04-01-2007
Hee. Some people are taking it a trifle too seriously...

This 911 call never fails to crack me up, it is so unbelieveable.

Google is offering a free internet service. Heh.

Too funny. Best part was this comment:

Can Google Tisp function with a bidet?

Check out the other Google practical jokes. I really want the MentalPlex one, and to work for the Google Copernicus Center.

This unique opportunity is available only to highly-qualified individuals who are willing to relocate for an extended period of time, are in top physical condition and are capable of surviving with limited access to such modern conveniences as soy low-fat lattes, The Sopranos and a steady supply of oxygen.

The pigeon one is also worth checking out.

The best part is reading all the people going "Am I the only one who gets that this is a joke?"

My little sister fell for the Gmail Paper joke. For a while, she was very excited about the prospect of having Gmail print out photo attachments for her. Poor thing.

Hey, I love Sister Act! I even love Sister Act II! I've never watched that film without being a bawling mess right at the end - and no, not the bit with the mother. The bit where they all come bounding on stage to get their trophies. They're great films! Well, no, that's a lie. But they are fun, and cheesy, and...hmmph. Mocking my films. Some people.

Unlucky Bear- 04-03-2007
I feel ya, Esseilte. Sister Act is one of those movies that I can't not flip past with the remote. I wish MY Catholic school had crazy singing nuns with big afros under their veils....

This is hilarious and yet kind of a bit eerie:

Excited!

(I couldn't find it on YouTube itself.)
