Oh man, I thought it was that weird Japanese gameshow where people have to fit through holes in advancing walls -- that was much cooler.

Is it wrong to yell at the screen, NO DON'T PUT THAT PIECE THERE?

Human Tetris. For anyone who's ever, you know, worked in an office, or been a student, or been bored, or human.

Oh god, that was awesome. I now have the 'background music' (bah dadada bum bum) in my head.

kariestel- 01-05-2008
Oh my god, that's the actual music, too! I was just playing it the other day.

Ha! They got into trouble early on and pulled themselves out of it, but when I saw that J-piece go in upside down over to the right, I knew it was all over.

I Can Has Cheezburger? now has a canine version - I Has A Hotdog. It's just not as funny with dogs, for some reason, but still pretty cute.

I Can Has Cheezburger?

Reading the comments on this page just broke my brain.

Yeah, never EVER try to read the comments, as they are...not English in any sense of the word.

Bender lives!

And brews!

Oh dear. MAKE magazine gave a bunch of TV-B-Gone devices (clickers that go on your keychain and can turn off any TV) to the folks of Gizmodo, and sent them off to the Consumer Electronics Show. Which has A LOT of TVs. The result was this video.

Oh dear. The video was funny but I felt bad for the Motorola guy. He handled it well, though.

The first icon is a longtime favorite. The second made me laugh for ten minutes.

laurelin_kit- 01-16-2008
Ahaha, I hadn't seen that one before. Brilliant.

bookworm- 01-17-2008
Not absurd, but definitely cool: The Library of Congress has put some of its collection on Flickr.

Yay!

Smiling Politely- 01-21-2008
Not so much absurd or humorous as really cool: Opacity has photographs of abandoned and decaying buildings. The images are really amazing, and if I were creative in the least, I think they would inspire me to write.

Hitler explains Second Life.

So wrong, yet funny at the same time.

particle_person- 01-22-2008
HEEEEEE. That's kind of brilliant. I love the eflounce at the end.
